The executive director will promote safety and growth for children, ensure that facilities are maintained; manage, and support a team of daycare staff; and manage the center’s financial affairs. The Yellow Springs Community Children’s Center, a 5-STAR, Step Up to Quality nonprofit childcare center, provides a nurturing, family-oriented environment to support and enhance the unique social, intellectual, emotional and physical growth of each child. The successful applicant should have a love for children, strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment, and display a friendly demeanor. They must have a minimum of two years experience, in an accredited childcare center, experience in managing all aspects of a daycare center, as well as strong leadership skills. A cover letter and vision statement are required with your resume containing your credentials, volunteer experience, and education must be received by Nov. 15. This is a full-time position.
