Currently near the top third of school districts in a tri-county area for its combined school income and property tax, Yellow Springs Schools would rise even higher in comparison if a 4.7-mill/0.25 percent income tax levy is passed May 8.

COMMUNITY ACCESS PANEL

YS Schools and the Levy Committee will hold an informational meeting about the district’s combined renovation/rebuild plan for the middle/high school facilities on Thursday, March 1, 6:30 p.m., in the YSHS cafeteria.

The YSHS and McKinney spring musical, “Disney’s High School Musical, On Stage!” will be performed Friday–Sunday, March 9–11 and 16–18, at Mills Lawn.

Award-winning education journalist and author John Merrow will be in Yellow Springs on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
