    Jordis Ruhl died Monday, Sept. 22, at Friends Care Center. She was 51.

  • Berthena Louden

    Berthena M. Louden, of Memphis, Tenn., and formerly of Springfield, died Sept. 12. She was 95. She was a retired employee of the State of Ohio Bureau of Workman’s Compensation.

  • Sharon Baldwin

    Sharon (Priser) Baldwin of Xenia died Sunday, Sept. 14, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was 46. She was born on Nov. 13, 1961. She was a former resident of Yellow Springs and a graduate of Yellow Springs High School.

  • Donald Alexander

    Donald A. Alexander of Yellow Springs died Sunday, Sept. 14. He was 75. He was born May 6, 1933, the son of Charles M. and Beatrice (Heider) Alexander in Yellow Springs.

  • Jeanne Rice

    Jeanne (Adams) Rice died on Aug. 28 in Dayton. She was 85. Before her death, she wrote: “With much appreciation to my many thoughtful friends, and to my loving and dedicated family who have made my life so special.”

  • Velma Duvall

    Velma R. Duvall died on July 30 at the age of 90. Her family invites villagers to a memorial service to celebrate her life on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 314 Xenia Avenue.

  • Monica Freeman

    Monica P. Freeman, of Yellow Springs, died on Sunday, August 31. She was 41. Born Oct. 7, 1966, in Newport News, Va., she was a graduate of Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University.

    Russell H. Miller died on June 21. He was 88. His family invites you to a celebration of his life at a memorial service on Saturday, Aug. 30, 10:30 a.m., at the First Presbyterian Church.

  • George Gerald (Jerry) DeWine

    George Gerald (Jerry) DeWine of Borrego Springs, Calif., and Xenia died on Aug. 12 at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, following a massive stroke. He was 73. Jerry was born on May 15, 1935, to George W. and Alice (nee Budd) in Yellow Springs.

  • Charles Dorsey

    Charles D. Dorsey died suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 2, during a visit with his grandmother, Mae Brown, at her residence in Yellow Springs. He was 43. Charles was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 29, 1965.
