  George Gerald (Jerry) DeWine of Borrego Springs, Calif., and Xenia died on Aug. 12 at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, following a massive stroke. He was 73. Jerry was born on May 15, 1935, to George W. and Alice (nee Budd) in Yellow Springs.

  Charles D. Dorsey died suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 2, during a visit with his grandmother, Mae Brown, at her residence in Yellow Springs. He was 43. Charles was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 29, 1965.

  Seth Joseph Duell was born in a small farmhouse in the “tree claim” on a farm near the tiny town of Ruleton, Kan., on June 25, 1925, to Seth Edwin and Martha Gattshall Duell. He was the fifth of 11 children.
