VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS PUBLIC MEETINGS

The cast of the upcoming all-district production of “Scrooge! The Musical” will hold a special sing-along fundraiser event on Friday, Dec. 6, 7–9 p.m. at the Foundry Theater on the Antioch College campus.

The Yellow Springs Community Foundation and the YS Giving Tuesday Committee are spearheading the fourth annual #YSGivingTuesday event today, Dec. 3.

Victor Manuel Garcia Perez, 79, of Yellow Springs, passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2019.

Mr. Kenneth James “Buster” Hamilton of San Diego, Calif., passed away peacefully at the age of 92, at his home in San Diego, on Nov. 7, 2019.

Carl Schumacher passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Each month, McKinney Middle School and Yellow Springs High School acknowledge one student from each grade who has shown exemplary work as a student, classmate and citizen of the school. The schools have selected the following six students, who best modeled these efforts in the month of October:

A memorial service for Wilberta “Billie” Eastman will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2:30 p.m., at Rockford Chapel.
