    Yellow Springs lost one of its icons on Jan. 20, 2019, when Paul M. DeLaVergne passed away after a brief illness.

  • Ten-Minute Play Festival to return

    This year’s festival will feature seven short plays, with most of them the traditional length of 10 minutes or shorter, and one at double the standard length, anchoring the second half of the show.

  • Stay warm with cold weather tips

    With the coming onslaught of brutally cold temperatures courtesy of the winter expansion of the polar vortex, as well as general cold snaps, village residents should prepare to keep themselves alert and safe when weather is frigid.

  • Winter hike through Little Miami River Gorge slated

    The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will host its fourth annual winter hike through the Little Miami River Gorge, which runs through John Bryan State Park and Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve, on Saturday, Jan. 26.

    The Yellow Springs Board of Education decided this morning to close village schools for Monday, Jan. 24, due to slick road conditions.
