  The middle school baseball team, new to the program this year, had its first win on Friday, April 7, taking down the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions.

  Last year’s softball team featured a senior-laden squad that swept through the MBC with an undefeated record. With only three starters returning and the entire starting infield graduating, on the surface it would appear to be a rebuilding year for the team. “Not so.”

  On Saturday, March 25, the Yellow Springs High School varsity baseball team loaded the bus with players, coaches and equipment, with Pleasant Hill as their destination, where they met the Newton High School Indians in the first contest of the baseball season.

  The Bulldogs faced off against the Emmanuel Christian Lions on Thursday, Feb. 2, ultimately bringing home a win for the boys team and a loss for the girls team at Northridge Lanes in Springfield.

  The Yellow Springs High School boys bowling team brought home another win on Monday, Jan. 24, narrowly defeating Southeastern, 2,486 pins to 2,468 across two regular games and a Baker game.
