To the nines
The Yellow Springs Community Orchestra and Chorus join forces Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Antioch College’s Foundry Theater, to present Beethoven’s Ninth symphony, as well as two works by American composer Randall Thompson.

CMYS to present Brazilian Guitar Quartet
On Sunday, March 25, Chamber Music in Yellow Springs will bring to the area one of the world’s leading guitar ensembles, the Brazilian Guitar Quartet. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Miami Valley’s own Jim McCutcheon will give a preconcert lecture at 6:45 p.m.

Gathering to remember young musician
Yellow Springs-based soul and rock jam band Gin-soaked Angels has announced on social media that a gathering to remember the life of the group’s bassist, Benjamin (Ben) Rorrer, who died earlier this week, will be held Sunday, Jan. 28, at Spirited Goat Coffee House, beginning at 7 p.m.
