School facilities, levy info meeting set

YS Schools and the Levy Committee will hold an informational meeting about the district’s combined renovation/rebuild plan for the middle/high school facilities on Thursday, March 1, 6:30 p.m., in the YSHS cafeteria.
The meeting will cover the plan for the middle and high school campus, including the site plan and details about what will be included in the new space.
The village will vote on Tuesday, May 8, on the proposed property and income tax levy of 4.7 mills/0.25 percent, which is planned to raise $18.5 million to support the facilities upgrades to be discussed at the informational meeting.
