LIHTC developer seeks site control of district-owned land

As was discussed at Monday’s Village Council meeting, one matter still stands in the way of Columbus-based development company Woda Cooper LLC applying for the $15 million in low-income tax credits: getting site control of the Morgan Fields from the school district.

  •   Celebrate unity, Haitian Independence

    The Haitian Community Alliance, or HCA, is sponsoring a “Celebration of Unity” event, to be held Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Metropolis of Springfield. The event, which is free and open to all, will feature Haitian food, performances by Haitian singers and dancers and Yellow Springs’ own World House Choir, and panelists who will speak on Haitian history.

  •   Dharma Center plans Winter Introduction to Meditation

    The VIDA commission recognized the Dharma Center, located on the corner of Davis and Livermore streets, because the building and surrounding gardens “create a subtle yet compelling visual effect and atmosphere.
