    The four finalists for Yellow Springs Village manager visited town last week for a three-day whirlwind of tours, meetings, presentations and interviews.     Yellow Springs may soon have a new Village manager.After four finalists for the position visited town last week, Village Council has made an offer to one of the candidates, the News confirmed this week.

    On the morning of March 1, 1954, on an island in the central Pacific, the United States detonated the most powerful atomic bomb it would ever test. In less than a second, the 15-megaton blast irradiated the island chain, as well as 23 Japanese fishermen on a fishing boat.
