  George Asakawa died peacefully at home on Sept. 11, in the company of his family and caregivers. He was 94.

  Daniel Pearson died Friday, Sept. 14, at his home at Lawson Place. He was 66. Though the coroner has not made official determination, the cause of death appears to be natural. A full obituary will appear in the Sept. 20 issue of the News.
