    Coats and hats, even some mittens, were in order at last Saturday’s cooler-than-normal Fall Street Fair, but the bundled-up crowd was just as festive as ever.

    Several hundred villagers enjoyed a Hollywood moment last Friday, Oct. 5, when actor, director and co-writer Bradley Cooper of the just-released “A Star is Born” appeared with local celebrity and film supporting actor Dave Chappelle at two private screenings of the film at the Little Art Theatre.

    Miami Township Fire-Rescue Chief Colin Altman, left, led local firefighters in organizing, and participating in, the fifth annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Antioch College last Saturday in the college’s historic main building. Each participant climbed the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center carrying the name and photo of a fallen hero to symbolically complete their climb.
