Julia Reichert work in film will be remembered for holding a megaphone to the voices of women and the working class — a thematic thread that ran through many of her most important works.

Longtime Yellow Springs resident Dr. John “Jack” P. Layh passed away on Nov. 23, 2022, in Jacksonville, Florida, from COVID-19 complications.

Cynthia E. Bittner, 64, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, died Dec. 2, 2022, in OSU Wexner Medical Center.
