The Yellow Springs Board of Education has decided to close to close village schools on Monday, Jan. 6, and Tuesday, Jan. 7, due to heavy snowfall.

A capacity crowd was treated to a collaborative holiday concert Monday evening, Dec. 16, in Westminster Hall at the First Presbyterian Church.

Crosswalk, median and parking lines around the village are currently being shored up with fresh white paint and a dusting of glass beads.

The Yellow Springs Youth Orchestra Association, or YSYOA, concluded its 2024 summer music camp Friday, June 28 with a Grand Finale concert at Yellow Springs High School.

A consequence of Daylight Saving Time, the grand solar eclipse of 2024 on Monday, April 8, will have to be moved forward by one hour to accommodate last month’s time change.

The next Village Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 20, at 7 p.m. This meeting will be held virtually, due to an increased risk of COVID.
